Amazfit BIP Lite smartwatch with heart rate sensor launched at Rs. 3,999

Huami, shortly after announcing the Amazfit BIP, has now launched the Amazfit Bip Lite fitness tracker in India. The new tracker comes with a heart rate sensor as well as comes with built-in GPS. The biggest highlight of the new Amazfit BIP Lite is that it comes with Always-on display and still promises a battery back up of up to 45 days.

The Amazfit BIP Lite will be available via Amazon India during the e-commerce retailer's upcoming Amazon Prime Day sale starting mid-July. It will be available at Rs. 3,999 in India.

Coming to the features and specs of the Amazfit BIP Lite, it comes with a 1.28-inch Always-on touch display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The company says that the fitness tracker offers insights on time, steps taken, weather and more at a glance. Once connected to the smartphone, the Amazfit BIP Lite also gives notifications for calls and messages. It comes with Bluetooth 4.0 LE and supports both Android and iOS devices.

It comes with a long list of features like tracking steps, cycling time and can even map routes for regular runners. As mentioned above, the Amazfit BIP Lite comes with a heart rate sensor, which can be disabled for enhancing battery backup. In the box, the Amazfit BIP Lite will ship with 20mm standard watch band. As expected, it comes with dust and rain resistant with IP68 certification. Measuring just 31 grams, it features an accelerometer, air pressure sensor, GPS and GLONASS. The Amazfit BIP Lite packs a small 190mAh battery.

The company also claims that the colour display on the Amazfit BIP Lite is readable under direct sunlight and the band can offer daily insights on indoor, outdoor activities like running, walking and cycling. The Amazfit BIP Lite can also record workouts of users.
