Setting his younger son’s career on the right track is the priority for senior actor Nagarjuna. With no single hit under his belt, Akhil Akkineni is pinning all his hopes on ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’, that is being directed by ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar and produced by Bunny Vasu. The film that was originally slated for April 2020 release also got affected by the coronavirus crisis like the rest of the movies.
Since 80 percent of the movie’s shoot has already been canned, Nagarjuna has decided to check the output of the unfinished film. Though Nagarjuna is largely satisfied with the footage that was filmed so far, he was not particularly content with the later portions of the second half. Nagarjuna reportedly asked to reshoot and rewrite those sequences for effectiveness. He watched the film during this lockdown period.
‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ is the fourth film in Akhil Akkineni’s career and it has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. With Geetha Arts backing and the most popular heroine being the female lead, Nagarjuna is also confident that the romantic drama might bring solace to his son’s career.
