Samsung Galaxy A91 specifications leaked: Snapdragon 855 SoC and 45W fast charging in tow

“As Samsung already launched the Galaxy A90 5G model this year, there’s a possibility the Galaxy A91 could be retained for early 2020, or it could be debuted in the international markets before the end of this year”

Samsung Galaxy A91 could be the new upcoming high-end Galaxy-A series phone, and according to a report from SamMobile, it will bear SM-A915F model number. The leaked specifications claim that the Galaxy A91 would come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and 45W fast-charging technology. Since Samsung already launched the Galaxy A90 5G model this year, there’s a possibility the Galaxy A91 could be retained for early 2020, or it could be debuted in the international markets before the end of this year. However, it might not come with 5G connectivity. The handset is said to pack 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

However, it isn’t clear if Samsung would include the 45W charger in the box or needs to be purchased separately.

The Samsung Galaxy A91 is said to flaunt a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U display and pack triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. The camera department seems to have been upgraded over the Galaxy A90. For selfies, it could pack a 32MP unit with an f/2.2 lens. Connectivity features could include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A91 is also said to pack the same 4,500mAh battery, and it will have support for 45W fast charging technology. However, it isn’t clear if Samsung would include the 45W charger in the box or needs to be purchased separately.

Though it was initially reported the Galaxy A91 would run Android 10 out of the box, the latest report claims otherwise. The India-specific model might run on Android 9.0 Pie with a custom skin on top. The Infinity U-waterdrop notch will accommodate the selfie snapper. Unfortunately, details regarding its launch date, pricing and availability aren’t available just yet, but we should come across more information in the coming days.
