Recently, Reliance Jio has announced to charge for calls on other networks. Due to which there is an atmosphere of confusion among live customers. Customers are surprised after this sudden decision of Jio, because now they will not be able to make free calls from Jio. In such a situation, if you know that you have the last chance to get a free call from Jio. Then you will not know this opportunity by hand and it will be good news for you.
Ever since Jio has made a foray into the telecom world, it has been providing free calling to customers. But some time ago, TRAI issued a consultative paper on the interconnect usage charge, in which IUC has been asked to reconsider. Till now TRAI had said that it will end the IUC charge from 1 January 2020. Jio was not taking money from customers for this reason. But Jio fears that TRAI may continue it even after January 2020. That's why Jio has started charging fees for calls to other networks. And it will be taken till TRAI reduces the IUC charge to zero.
Now customers in Jio will have to pay an IUC rate of 6 paise per minute to call other networks. This fee will be applicable on all the Jio Recharge that starts from October 11. In such a situation, if a customer recharges on his Jio SIM today i.e. on October 10, then he will continue to get the benefit of free calls. That is, you will be able to keep your free call running with this easy task. Note that you will be able to make free calls till the validity of the recharge made today. After this, you will be charged for the call. Therefore, you can also recharge with long validity.
