Cricket's popular website ESPNcricinfo has appointed India's Virat Kohli as the captain of their Test team of this decade, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni of India has made the captain of ODI and T20 team of this decade. The website has also included India's off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in its Test team.
Over the last decade, Kohli has scored 7,202 runs at an average of 54.97, while Ashwin has taken 362 wickets at an average of 25.36.
Apart from Dhoni in the ODI team, Kohli and Rohit Sharma have also got a place in the team.
In the T20s, fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah are the third Indian after Kohli and Dhoni. The team has five players from the two-time T20 World Cup winners West Indies. These include Chris Gayle, Dwyane Bravo, Sunil Narine, Karen Pollard, Andre Russell.
At the same time, the website has also announced women's teams, in which Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami of India have got a place in ODIs and T20s. Meg Lenning of Australia has been named captain of both teams.
